  • From Big Sky, MT: Take US-191 South through the scenic Gallatin Canyon. The drive is approximately 50 miles and takes about 1 hour. Big Sky offers a variety of outdoor activities and beautiful views, making it a great stop on your way to Yellowstone.

Flying

  • Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN): Located about 90 miles from the West Entrance, this airport is a convenient option. Rental cars are available at the airport for the drive to West Yellowstone.
  • Yellowstone Airport (WYS): Just 2 miles north of West Yellowstone, this seasonal airport operates from late May to early October, offering the closest air access to the West Entrance.
