Downloading maps for your route ahead of time is a good idea, since many areas of the park don’t have cell service. You might want to go old school and grab a paper map from the entrance station as you head into the park, just to have a backup in case digital options won’t load for you.
You can find paid and free self-guided audio and interactive map tours to enrich your experience as you travel through the park. The park service also offers a free app that includes geyser prediction times, self-guided tours, and info on amenities that you can download for offline use.
